What does Freedom mean?

I've been singing a song over and over again for a few months now. Very often it pops in my head when I'm feeling down about myself or when I'm forgeting what it REALLY means to be free. In Christ we are FREE and "it is for freedom that Christ has set us free" - Galations 5:1.

Fearfully you have tried to fight your sin and still there has been no freedom there.
I am not asking you to try again but to join me in a Holy love affair [with Christ].
And freedom means you’re free to care
To see the wind blow through My hair
Free to give your life away and know that its going to be ok.
To teach a child to catch a ball
To let Me be you’re All in All
To no longer try to DO but try to BE.
